Your First Yoga Class


This is a beginner yoga, all you have to do is breathe. Welcome to Hot Yoga Newry where we teach the original Bikram series.


Here are a few tips for your first class:


- No pre-registration is required, every class is for beginners.

- Arrive at least 15 minutes early for your first class.

- You will need a yoga mat, a large towel and water.

- Drink water prior to class, being well hydrated makes class more enjoyable.

- It is best to practice yoga on an empty stomach, try to avoid large meals 2 hours prior to class.

- The yoga room is heated, dress in lightweight clothing, be prepared to sweat.

- Pace yourself, if you need to sit down and rest please take care of yourself and most importantly please do not compare yourself to anyone else in the room.

- It is a life long practice!
